About Ruby Health and Wellness
Lynae and the rest of the Ruby team want to spread a message of joy, freedom, and peace with food. Do you know what it’s like to shed weight-worry and enjoy food? Lynae is a registered and licensed dietitian and certified nutritionist who founded her business to spread this truth. She and her fellow Oregon practitioners at Ruby Health and Wellness Group Practice work from an Intuitive Eating approach. They work with individuals to find their answer to the question “what is my definition of health?” They work to guide clients in exploring food rules and neutralize them while diffusing body shame and redefining well-being. It begins a journey that leads to empowerment, and greater satisfaction with life.
In 2017, Lynae changed the name of her office to “Ruby Slippers Wellness” to capture the deeply held truth that the power to “come home” to health is within each one of us. Now, in 2019 she has decided to simplify; drop the slippers, so we have Ruby Health and Wellness!
By combining the principles of nutritional awareness, personal growth, and positive psychology, the nutritionists and therapists at Ruby Health and Wellness provide practical methods for redefining the role that food plays in our lives. They incorporate humor and empathy in a no-nonsense, non-diet approach. They serve clients in prediabetes and diabetes management, emotional eating, hypertension, and body image / weight concerns.
